page iv: owing to a late change of specification, for technical reasons, 1500 micron box board was used instead of 2000 micron.
page xv: last paragraph, 3rd line: for “draw up the patterns up from end to end” read “draw up the patterns from end to end”.
Outer slip case, back cover, 3rd paragraph, 2nd line: for “Now, only minority” read “Now, only a minority”.
Page 36, Tottenham Court Road photograph caption, 2nd paragraph, 1st line: for “defuser” read “diffuser”.
Page 46, 1st paragraph, 2nd line: for “the up the tiling” read “up the tiling”.

Page 68, photograph caption, 2nd line: for “cramped (as is this double-page spread).” read “cramped, as is this double-page spread”.
Pages 78/79, Kennington Road realization: the thickness of the brown outlines on the Way Out and No Exit devices are too thick. These should be the same as those depicted at all other stations .
Page 133, Highgate station plan: alongside the brown line depicting the area of tile pattern, the enclosed space between the two platforms should be white and not dark grey.
Page 199, in the ring count panel width drawing, southbound platform, it may be more likely that panel 16 was the name panel and not panel 15, as the width is more appropriate. It would however be very unusual to have a name panel so near the end of the platform.
Tiles of the Unexpected, Unfolded
“The Hampstead Stations”, Tottenham Court Road realization, double ring to the right of Panel 14 (before doorway): the frieze should only have two horizontal courses and not three.
And Some Errors That Are Correct
During the on-site surveys, astonishingly only two errors in the original patterns were found.
“The Piccadilly Stations” realization sheet:
Holborn Panel 11, top right-hand corner of turquoise pattern: the apparent missing tile from the fourth row down is correct as shown.
Dover Street Panel 6, fourth row down: the apparent missing four pairs of blue tiles over the left-hand half of the panel are correct as shown. See also the photograph on page 28.
