Notes About This Vehicle

As part of Transport for London’s ‘Year of the Bus’ commemorations, fleet number LT150 was decorated in a striking silver livery with double-red detail striping. In order to maintain visual harmony with the construction lines of the vehicle, the advert frames have had their proportions subtly adjusted.
The specially designed celebratory bar & circle on this bus has also been applied to bus stop flags and general publicity.
For general notes about this vehicle type, please see the New Bus for London drawing.

Notes About This Drawing

The drawing is based on a general arrangement drawing. This type of black & white sketch drawing, as implied by the name, is not intended to define detail but act as a specification guide to builders.
All the fine detail has been interpreted from dozens of close-up colour photographs taken for the purpose and attempts to show the vehicle as closely as possible to how it looked soon after it entered service in February 2014. None of the detail can be regarded as definitive.
It should be understood that all four elevations are seen here as one would see each part of the vehicle at a truly perpendicular angle. In real life this is of course impossible.
